You are not required to fill out all sections of your Portfolio, as much of the information may have already been listed in your Resume.
If you do not wish to fill out all sections, you may use the Portfolio to enter any qualifications you would like to highlight to the employer.
Mandatory Sections for All Applications:
Personal Information
This can be found in the Portfolio section. Once you have completed this page, please click Save before continuing through the rest of the Portfolio. Click the Next at the bottom-right corner of the page to move onto the next page.
Who Can View My Portfolio
This can be found in the Portfolio section. Depending on which school board(s) you have an active credit(s) with, mandatory school board-specific questions may have to be answered on this page.
Click on Answer Questions to complete this section.
Qualifications
If you are an Ontario Certified teacher, you are also required to add your OCT number to the Qualifications page of the Portfolio.
Click on Add Certificate.
Enter your Certificate / License # and Re-Type OCT # before clicking I accept. After that, click on Add Certificate.
Click Save at the bottom of the page before exiting.
Supporting Documents
When applying to a posting, please refer to the Mandatory Document heading as this will highlight which Supporting Documents must be uploaded to the Portfolio in order to submit your application to the specific job posting.
The postings are added to the Supporting Documents page of the Portfolio.
Click on the folder you want to upload a document to, and then click on Select File to choose a document from your computer to upload to your account.
Once you have added your documents, you can return to the posting and continue with the application process. Click here for more information on how to apply to a posting.
